IBM Researchers participated in a Skydive Hackathon which took place on 2-4 October (2019). Skydive is an open source real-time network topology and protocols analyzer providing a comprehensive way of understanding what is happening in your network infrastructure. Skydive is an important tool to support the Sodalite Monitoring.
The topics covered in the Hackathon include:
- Project Governance
- New native package dependencies (go.mod)
- eBPF probe code walk
- New AWS Flow Logs format
- Reporting errors in flow capture via WebSocket
The network flow capture and log format impact how we report network information to the Sodalite Monitoring component.
